Your raw emotional reactions are stored in a private vault that your partner can never access — not through any report, feature, or summary. This is guaranteed by design, not just policy.

Who we are

Accord is operated by Investigate Health Publishing LLC, based in Pennsylvania, USA. Contact: privacy@feltandclose.com

What we collect

Account: Username and optionally email address (for password reset only). We do not require your real name.
Profile data: Onboarding information used solely to personalize AI translations.
Messages and reactions: Your topic messages and vault entries. Vault entries are never shared with your partner.
Device tokens: For push notifications, revoked on logout.

What we do NOT collect

Your real name, phone number, or location data
Contacts or address book
Health or biometric data
Any data from other apps

How we use your data

To provide the Accord service, send push notifications, and enable password reset. We do not sell your data, use it to train AI models, or show you advertisements.

AI processing

Your messages are processed by Anthropic's Claude API. Message content is not stored by Anthropic beyond each request. Accord is not a medical or therapeutic service.

Data sharing

Only with: Anthropic (AI processing), RevenueCat (subscriptions), Expo (push notifications), Sentry (crash reporting). Never for marketing or advertising.

Data retention

Vault entries: auto-deleted after 90 days
Account deletion: vault data within 24 hours, full erasure within 30 days

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Access: Export your data — Settings → Export my data
Erasure: Delete your account — Settings → Delete all my data
Opt-out: Disable notifications anytime in Settings

We do not sell personal information. EU/UK residents: data processed under legitimate interest.

Children

Accord is for users 18 and older. Contact privacy@feltandclose.com if you believe a minor has an account.

Security

All data encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Vault entries have additional database-level access controls.
